A School for Change Makers
The world our students will graduate into is characterized by rapid technological advancement, social complexity, global interdependence, and constant change. To prepare our future graduates to be highly skilled, knowledgeable and capable of leading positive change, NYA has adopted an educational approach grounded in robust research and forward-looking practice.
How NYA will meet the future needs of tomorrow’s graduates is by integrating key educational frameworks and research—including Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences and Bloom’s Taxonomy and Higher Order Thinking Skills into a cohesive approach for teaching and learning. The overarching objective of this approach is to intentionally develop leadership capacity in students so they can become ethical, resilient, and innovative change makers in a rapidly evolving world.
