Head of School’s Message

For the past decade, our school has proudly been known as ‘The Happy Place’—a school where joy, belonging, and a love of learning have shaped the foundation of every child’s experience. Those first ten years were built on the belief that happy learners thrive, and this remains at the heart of who we are. Guided by our motto Via Vita Veritas—The Way, The Truth, The Life—we have sought to lead our students along a path grounded in integrity, purpose, and care for others. As we now grow into a full school, extending our learning community through to high school, we carry this legacy forward with pride. Happiness will always be central to our culture, ensuring that every student feels safe, valued, and inspired from their earliest days to their final years with us.

As we look to the future, we recognise that our learners are entering a world defined by rapid change, complexity, and opportunity. Anchored in The Way, The Truth, and The Life, our focus is to prepare students not only with knowledge, but with wisdom, resilience, and a strong moral compass. As A School for Change Makers, we empower every learner to think critically, act compassionately, and lead with courage. This commitment is shared across all sections of our school, from the very smallest to the tallest, as we nurture confident, capable young people ready to shape their futures and make a meaningful difference in the world.

For our parents and families, we are proud to offer a school that meets rigorous international standards and is committed to continuous growth and excellence. NYA is fully WASC accredited and is actively pursuing IB authorization across the PYP, MYP, and DP programmes as our school expands. Alongside this, we will continue to build strong affiliations with other future-ready schools, major industry leaders, and progressive, forward-thinking institutions. These partnerships will enrich our learning environment, broaden student experiences, and ensure that every learner at NYA benefits from innovative, real-world opportunities that prepare them for life beyond school.
