Early Learning Center

Our Early Years Program is thoughtfully designed to provide individualized and personalized learning for the holistic development of each child. Our goal is to help our children become independent, self-confident, inquisitive and enthusiastic learners by actively exploring their environment. We use inspiration from different philosophies like Play-Based, Montessori and Reggio Emilia.

We believe that every child is unique and young children learn best by doing as a result, the goals of our Early Learning Center are based on these premises. Our academic program along with the School-Wide Learner Outcomes help students build a solid foundation. Our thoughtful and intentionally designed environment fosters children’s experiences, relationships and opportunities for cooperative work. Materials are selected that are interesting and provoke creativity and wonder.

We follow The Creative Curriculum for our preschoolers. We have developed thematic units to expose children to new concepts and expand their knowledge of the world around them.

We focus on Social/Emotional, Cognitive, Physical and Language development.

  • Social/Emotional Development: Students feelings about themselves, the development of responsibility, and their ability to relate positively to others.
  • Cognitive Development: Students thinking skills, including the development of symbolic and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical Development: Students gross and fine-motor development.
  • Language Development: Students ability to communicate through words both spoken and written.

Students also get an opportunity to participate in the PHE program (Physical and Health Education), Music, Visual Arts and Foreign Language (Spanish & French)
